The 8th follows the story of the campaigners behind the 2018 referendum to repeal the 8th amendment and legalise abortion in Ireland. Including voices from both sides of the debate but primarily focusing on the female leaders of the pro-choice campaign, The 8th shows a country forging a new progressive path when reproductive rights are threatened all over the world.
